Connor McDavid scored his second goal at 2:38 of overtime to give the Edmonton Oilers a 3-2 win against the Arizona Coyotes at Rogers Place on Thursday.
Tobias Rieder scored a shorthanded goal 35 seconds into the third period to tie it 2-2. Clayton Keller scored his first goal of the preseason to give the Coyotes a 1-0 lead 4:35 into the first period. McDavid tied it 1-1 at 5:58 of the second period before Christian Fischer scored a power-play goal at 11:47 to give Arizona a 2-1 lead. Mikko Koskinen made 25 saves for the Oilers. Antti Raanta made 21 for the Coyotes.
