Lightning announce 2018 Development Camp schedule

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning announced the schedule for its 2018 Development Camp, which will take place from Tuesday, June 26 through Saturday, June 30. Except for the testing day on June 26, all on-ice sessions will take place at the Ice Sports Forum in Brandon. The camp will culminate on June 29 and 30 with the annual 3-on-3 tournament. The camp will feature the Lightning's top prospects, 2018 NHL Draftees and invitees. The on-ice sessions are free and open to the public.

As part of tradition during the camp, the players will give back to the Tampa Bay community. On Tuesday, June 26 three players will spend time with children at the Lightning Made Summer Camp at Florida Hospital Center Ice in Wesley Chapel, while the rest of the players will visit the Simmons Family Riverview Boys & Girls Club to play street hockey and participate in arts and crafts with kids in attendance. More information will be released at a later date.
In addition, on Wednesday, June 27, the Lightning will hold a ribbon-cutting media event and tour of the new $6 million locker room and training facility at the Ice Sports Forum. Full media details will be distributed later.
