TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored the organization's full-time staff as the Lightning Community Heroes this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Colorado Avalanche. Full-time employees, who received an incredible $1.22 million donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to a host of local charities throughout the Bay area.

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Sonya Bryson-Kirksey as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Colorado Avalanche. Bryson-Kirksey, who received a $100,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Support the Troops and Multiple Sclerosis Research.  

TAMPA BAY - In honor and celebration of Juneteenth, the Tampa Bay Lightning honored Urban League of Hillsborough County and Pinellas County Urban League as the Lightning Community Heroes this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Colorado Avalanche. Urban League of Hillsborough County and Pinellas County Urban League shared a $100,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil.  

TAMPA BAY - In honor and celebration of Pride Month, the Tampa Bay Lightning honored Metro Inclusive Health as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the New York Rangers. Metro Inclusive Health received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil.  

TAMPA BAY - In honor and celebration of World Oceans Day, the Tampa Bay Lightning honored environmental organizations as the Lightning Community Heroes this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the New York Rangers. The Florida Aquarium and Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful shared a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil.  

TAMPA BAY - In honor and celebration of National Cancer Survivors Day, the Tampa Bay Lightning honored cancer survivors as the Lightning Community Heroes this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the New York Rangers. Children's Cancer Center and 1Voice Foundation shared a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil.  

TAMPA BAY - In honor and celebration of Memorial Weekend, the Tampa Bay Lightning honored our nation's military men and women, and their families, as the Lightning Community Heroes this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Florida Panthers. Blue Star Families and Military Family Advisory Network, Inc. (MFAN) shared a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil.  

TAMPA BAY - In honor and celebration of National Police Week, the Tampa Bay Lightning honored local law enforcement officers as the Lightning Community Heroes this evening during the first period of today's game against the Florida Panthers. Tampa Bay Area Chiefs of Police Foundation received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil.  

TAMPA BAY - In honor and celebration of Nurses' Appreciation Week, the Tampa Bay Lightning honored nurses as the Lightning Community Heroes this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. AdventHealth and Tampa General Hospital shared a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil.  

TAMPA BAY - In honor and celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Tampa Bay Lightning honored several local mental health nonprofits as the Lightning Community Heroes this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay Thrives, and The Central Florida Behavioral Health Network shared a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil. 

TAMPA BAY - In honor of and in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week from May 2-8th, the Tampa Bay Lightning honored local teachers as the Lightning Community Heroes this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Hillsborough and Pinellas County Education Foundations shared a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil. 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Dr. Sheron Brown as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Dr. Brown who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Tampa Bay Healthcare Collaborative.  

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Marylou Bourdow as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Nashville Predators. Bourdow, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to St. Petersburg Free Clinic.  

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Terri Balliet as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Balliet, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Gulf Coast Jewish & Family Services (JFCS).  

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Michael Sullivan as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Detroit Red Wings. Sullivan, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to GiGi's Playhouse.  

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Sonya Flores as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Winnipeg Jets. Flores, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Metropolitan Ministries.  

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Seth Miller as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Anaheim Ducks. Miller, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to the Innocence Project.  

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Joseph Maguire as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Buffalo Sabres. Maguire, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Southeastern Guide Dogs.  

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Fabian Yepez as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Boston Bruins. Yepez, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Hispanic Business Initiative, also known as Prospera.  

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Katie Mastenbrook as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Mastenbrook, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Tampa Bay Watch.  

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Carlo Franzbleau as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Montreal Canadiens. Franzbleau, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Sing Out and Read.  

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Joseph Puente as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Chicago Blackhawks. Puente, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to RCMA. 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Ez Rodriguez as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Carolina Hurricanes. Rodriguez, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to the Equality Florida Institute. 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Brian Butler as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the New York Rangers. Butler, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to the Nonprofit Leadership Center. 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Melanie Johnson as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Detroit Red Wings. Johnson, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Carlos Irizarry as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Irizarry, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Wholesome Community Ministry of Wimauma.

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Gwendolyn Green as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Ottawa Senators. Green, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Tampa Crossroads. 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Donna Gaffney as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Edmonton Oilers. Gaffney, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Suncoast Voices for Children, RCMA, and Academy Prep of St. Petersburg. 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Ben Ritter as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the San Jose Sharks. Ritter, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Self-Reliance, Inc. 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Chapters Health Foundation's Valor Volunteers as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Valor Volunteers are being represented this evening by Janie Bennett and Maxine Reyes, who are accepting the Community Hero award on behalf of the group. Chapters Health Foundation, Inc. received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil. 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Holly Andrade as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the New Jersey Devils. Andrade, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Learning Independence For Tomorrow (LiFT). 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Tom McGowan as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Dallas Stars. McGowan, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Community Law Program, Inc.

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Shadai Simmons as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Vancouver Canucks. Simmons, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Ready for Life. 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Fran Scerbo as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Boston Bruins. Scerbo, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Guardian ad Litem Foundation of Tampa Bay. 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored April Arnold as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Calgary Flames. Arnold, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Created Women, Inc. 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Judge EJ Salcines as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Montreal Canadiens. Judge Salcines, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to the Tampa Bay History Center and the Florida Bar Foundation. 

TAMPA BAY -The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Bob Dillinger as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Ottawa Senators. Dillinger, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to the Beth Dillinger Foundation and Vincent House.

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored alumni of Brain Expansion Scholastic Training Inc. (B.E.S.T.) as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Los Angeles Kings. The alumni received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, which will be granted to B.E.S.T. 

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Charley Harris as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the St. Louis Blues. Harris, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Pinellas Education Foundation. 

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Nigel Kirwan as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Seattle Kraken. Kirwan, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Quantum Leap Farm.  

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Mary Wygodski, Helen Kahan, Ed Herman, and Betty Grebenschikoff as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Philadelphia Flyers. Wygodski, Kahan, Herman and Grebenschikoff, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to the Florida Holocaust Museum. 

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Jon Cooper as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Minnesota Wild. Cooper, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to pediatric cancer research and patient services via Coop's Catch for Kids.  

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Ryan Nece as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the New Jersey Devils. Nece, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to the Ryan Nece Foundation. 

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Al Donn as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the New York Islanders. Donn, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful and the Florida Aquarium.

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Tavis Myrick as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Washington Capitals. Myrick, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Gentlemen's Quest of Tampa, Inc and Manifestations Worldwide. 

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Ellen Franz Snelling as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Arizona Coyotes. Snelling, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to the Hillsborough County Anti-Drug Alliance (HCADA). 

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Aidza Thomas as the Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Colorado Avalanche. Thomas, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to Solita's House. 

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Norm Cookson as the second Lightning Community Hero this evening during the first period of tonight's game against the Florida Panthers. Cookson, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to A Kid's Place of Tampa Bay. 

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning honored Lincoln Tamayo as the first Lightning Community Hero this season during the first period of tonight's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Tamayo, who received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program, presented by Jabil, will donate the money to the Academy Prep Foundation.
