The Lightning and Canadiens are playing Game 4 of the 2021 Stanley Cup Final...Tampa Bay owns a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series and has four chances to win its second-straight Stanley Cup starting tonight...The Lightning have never lost a playoff series when up 3-0, going 3-0 in their previous three instances, the Bolts completing the sweep in two (2004 ECSF vs. MTL and 2011 ECSF vs. WSH) and pushed to six games in the other (2015 ECSF vs. MTL)...The Lightning are the 13th defending Stanley Cup champions to take a 3-0 series lead in the Final and first since the 1998 Red Wings (only one team in NHL history has overcome a 3-0 deficit to win the Cup Final, the 1942 Maple Leafs)... The Bolts are aiming to complete the first sweep in the Stanley Cup Final since Detroit defeated Washington in four games in the 1998 Cup Final.

Tampa Bay is aiming to win its second-straight Stanley Cup and third in franchise history go with Cup championships in 2004 and 2020...The Lightning can become the first team to go back-to-back since Pittsburgh in 2016 and 2017 and the seventh franchise in the NHL's expansion era (since 1967-68) to win consecutive Cups...Tampa Bay would be the second team this century to win back-to-back Cups, joining Pittsburgh (2016, 2017) and the ninth different franchise all-time to repeat as Stanley Cup champions...This marks just the third Stanley Cup Final in the last 22 years in which a team has taken a 3-0 series lead, the Lightning and Kings being the only teams to do so in that span, with Los Angeles achieving the feat in both 2012 and 2014 en route to six- and five-game victories, respectively...The Lightning have never trailed in any game in the 2021 Stanley Cup Final and are one of four teams since the NHL's expansion era (1967-68) to go up 3-0 in a Cup Final and never trail in any of the three wins, joining 2012 Los Angeles, 1977 Montreal and 1969 Montreal.
