One: Down the stretch, they come
Two: Fighting for spots

The Kraken sent some players to the American Hockey League Coachella Valley Firebirds on Sunday, but the roster is yet to be set. These final two preseason games may be one of the final chances for players fighting for roster spots to impress.
Players like Cale Fleury (9 games with Kraken), goaltender Joey Daccord (5 games with Kraken), Alex True (8 games), John Hayden (first year with Kraken), Daniel Sprong (16 games), Ryker Evans (rookie), and Michal Kempny (first year with Kraken) are all taking the trip to Alberta and still in the mix to earn a roster spot. They'll get at least one chance to get into the lineup and should be playing as hard as they can. After Monday's game, the team will remain in Alberta for some team bonding off the ice and good practices on it. Those practices and the game action will be huge for the players at the bottom of the roster.

Three: Vets getting action

Jordan Eberle and Jaden Schwartz have only played in one preseason game. They flanked rookie Shane Wright against Calgary in the second preseason game but have been spectators since. Both are veteran players who have seen it all, but Eberle is eager to play in the final two games. He and Schwartz have been building chemistry in camp, but Eberle said on Sunday that getting that game action is key to getting ready for the season.
Where Hakstol sees Eberle and Schwartz fitting in will be one thing to watch Monday and Friday. Will he put them back with Wright to provide a veteran presence, will he slot them in with other players, or will they play on different lines apart from each other? We will start to get an idea Monday in Calgary.
