As the weather gets colder and the holidays inch closer, hockey around the world is continuing to heat up! With leagues reaching the midway points of their seasons and the World Junior Championships just 10 days away, Kings prospects are gearing up for an important stretch. Here's the latest!

Francesco Pinelli (Kitchener Rangers, OHL)

Francesco Pinelli is continuing to produce for the Kitchener Rangers as the team's captain. Despite having missed seven games this season due to illness and a three-game suspension, Pinelli ranks in the top-10 in goals (18) in the OHL. Drafted by the Kings in the second round of the 2021 NHL Draft, Pinelli has totaled 31 points (18-13=31) in just 22 games this season. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound center holds a 53.3% face-off percentage and has notched five points (2-3=5) in his last three games. Pinelli and the Rangers will host the Soo Greyhounds later today at 4:30 pm.

Tyler Madden (Ontario Reign, AHL)

Tyler Madden was called up to the Kings for the first time in his career earlier this month after an impressive stretch in Ontario. The former third-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft has had a solid to the season, totaling 10 points (5-5=10) in 21 games this season. Just prior to his call-up, Madden had netted goals in three straight games and is finding scoring opportunities consistently. Madden currently ranks second on the Reign in shots in goal with 48 shots in 21 games.
