LA Kings Host 30 Families at Annual 'Adopt-A-Family' Event

For the second year, the LA Kings partnered with CHLA for their Holidays From the Heart program, which supports the most vulnerable and financially challenged patients at CHLA. The program seeks to create hope for families by fulfilling some of their basic needs and alleviating stress felt during the holiday season.

The result of this partnership was the team's annual Adopt-A-Family event at Crypto.com Arena, where Kings players, coaches, broadcasters, and staff sponsored 30 families who attended the game on Saturday, December 17th against the San Jose Sharks.

Families in attendance had the opportunity to skate at the annual Holiday Ice rink at L.A. Live before watching the game from a catered and festively-decorated suite.

After the game, Kings players and their families joined the festivities to take photos, sign autographs and present gifts to every CHLA family in attendance. Needless to say, there were some big smiles and very happy kids leaving Crypto.com Arena after an LA Kings shootout win!
