The Kings held their annual Fantasy Camp this week that spanned over three and half days. Surrounded by LA Kings Alumnus Derek Armstrong, Jordan Nolan, Kyle Calder, Kyle Quincey, Mark Hardy, Peter Demers and Raitis Ivanans along with Blake Bolden, 2022 Team USA Olympic Silver Medalist Megan Bozek and the first woman to play in the NHL, Manon Rheamue, Fantasy Camp attendees were joined by years of professional hockey experience.
"The alumni are awesome and make this camp the best time of your life," said camp goer Richard Lane.

From March 23rd-March 26th, the Kings provided the adult camper goers on ice activities such as one practice, one 3 v 3 game, two 5 v 5 games and a championship game at Crypto.com Arena with a replica Stanley Cup awarded. Off the ice activities included the a suite at the Kings vs. Blackhawks game on March 24th, a ball hockey game in El Segundo, a Darryl Evans famous BBQ at Toyota Sports Performance Center, a fully catered Hyde Lounge at the Kings vs. Kraken game on March on 26th and much, much more.

All campers received a Warrior stick or goalie stick, an Adidas backpack, fantasy camp branded Adidas apparel and one Kings jersey fully customized to the camper's own name and number. The 22 Fantasy Camp participants spanned across five states (California, Montana, Nevada, Texas and Montana) and two Canadian provinces (Alberta and Quebec). Manny Archer, a returning camp participant described the camp as being "like a family reunion, the people that attend this camp in previous years have become like family to me and it's always good to see them!"

Camp attendees also had a chance to win Kings prizes such as concert tickets, bottles of wine and signed jerseys, sticks and pick via a camp ending raffle.
The Fantasy Camp is "the best 50th birthday present I ever could've gotten," said Darcy Blair.
All in all, the Kings 2022 Fantasy Camp provided an opportunity for your average hockey fan and player to come experience what it would be like to be treated as an NHL player. From snacks to beverages in the room, playing with LA Kings alumni, full-serviced equipment managers to wash and dry all the equipment and to be treated too expensive dinners and exclusive LA Kings access in areas that the general public does not have.
