Join the Carolina Hurricanes for the 18th annual Caniac Carnival at PNC Arena on Sunday, Sept. 17. The event features FREE admission and parking and discounted food and beverage.
The Caniac Carnival's footprint covers the inside and outside of PNC Arena. The Carnival will feature activities for fans of all ages, including two free Hurricanes training camp practices, an autograph session with Canes players, inflatable rides, interactive games and booths, more than 15 food trucks, a kid's zone, sports area, live music, appearances by Stormy and the Pepsi Storm Squad and more!
The Hurricanes practices are general admission; select sections will be open, and a ticket is not required. The practices are a great opportunity for long-time and first-time fans alike to see members of the 2017-18 Hurricanes team and experience hockey up close. An autograph session will be held between the practices, and all members of the team are scheduled to appear. This free event is limited to the first 600 fans.
The Caniac Carnival will feature a State of the Hurricanes discussion hosted by John Forslund with special guest GM Ron Francis at 11:30 a.m. John Forslund will also host an interview with Canes alumnus and 2006 Stanley Cup Champion Erik Cole at 1:00 p.m.
Outside of PNC Arena, more than 20 inflatables, interactive displays and corporate partner booths will take over multiple parking lots. Food trucks include:
