VEGAS (June 7, 2019) - The Vegas Golden Knights are now accepting applications for the Golden Aces cheer & promo team and the Knights Guard ice crew presented by The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for the 2019-20 season. All positions are part-time and will be a part of creating the game night atmosphere inside T-Mobile Arena.
Applications can be found here and will be accepted until 12 p.m. PT on Monday, June 24. All candidates who pass the initial application phase will be notified and invited to auditions via email by Monday, July 1.
The Knights Guard presented by The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is the game night ice crew at T-Mobile Arena. All candidates must have above-average skating ability. Auditions for the Knights Guard will be held July 10 at City National Arena and will have both an on-ice and dryland portion. All participants must wear hockey skates; no figure skates or goalie skates will be allowed.

Prior to the auditions, the Golden Knights will host skating sessions for those interested in auditioning for the Knights Guard. Sessions will be held at City National Arena on Monday, June 10 and Wednesday, June 12 from 6-7 p.m. Participants will be put through on-ice drills and footwork assessments. While attendance at these sessions is not required for applications, participation is highly encouraged.
Those interested may preregister for the skating sessions here for $15 each. Any attendees who did not preregister will pay $20 at the door for each session. Please note that sessions might fill up and there might not be space for all drop-ins. All participants should wear hockey skates for these sessions.
The Golden Aces are the in-arena cheer & promo team. Auditions will be July 16 & 17 at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa. The first day of auditions will focus on physical fitness, teamwork & choreography. The second day will focus on interviews.

Both teams will serve as community ambassadors for the Vegas Golden Knights, interact with fans and facilitate promotions during Golden Knights home games at T-Mobile Arena. On non-game days and during road games, the Golden Aces and Knights Guard will represent the organization at offsite events including school and hospital visits, community caravans, hockey clinics, watch parties and other sponsored events.
Auditions for both teams are open to people of all gender identities. Ideal candidates will have a love of performing and a dedication to growing the sport of hockey and the Golden Knights brand. Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of auditions to be considered. All positions are part time, but those selected must be able to attend all ice crew/promo team practices (two per week August through May) and the majority Golden Knights home games during the 2019-20 campaign.
