VEGAS (April 15, 2022) - The Vegas Golden Knights announced today, April 15, that the team will host their annual regular season awards ceremony following the final home game of the regular season on Sunday, April 24 when the Golden Knights play the San Jose Sharks at 7 p.m. PT at T-Mobile Arena. The awards ceremony is presented by T-Bird Jewels, with the winners receiving a special commemorative watch.

Three total awards will be given to the winning players, including a Vegas Golden Knights First Star Award as determined by 'stars of the game' voting at home games; Vegas Strong Service Award for the player most involved in serving and giving back to the Vegas community; and Seventh Player Award for the player who most exceeded expectations on the ice.
Fans are now invited to participate in selecting a winner for the Seventh Player Award through an online poll at this link. Michael Amadio, Brett Howden, Ben Hutton and Nicolas Roy are the four nominees up for the award. Voting will end on Thursday, April 21.
Since being claimed off waivers by the Golden Knights on October 30, Amadio has appeared in 46 games for Vegas and collected 17 points (10 G, 7 A). His ten goals during the 2021-22 season are a career high. Amadio previously spent time in the NHL with the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Los Angeles Kings and signed a two-year contract extension with the Golden Knights on January 30.
Howden was acquired by the Golden Knights from the New York Rangers on July 17. With Vegas, the forward has recorded 20 points (9 G, 11 A), four points shy of a career high. His offensive contributions were highlighted by a late-January, early-February stretch when he scored in four straight games and recorded points in five-straight contests.
Hutton signed with Vegas as a free agent on October 28 after playing with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks. The defenseman has since appeared in 51 games with the Golden Knights and posted 12 points (3 G, 9 A) to go with a +7 rating. The native of Ontario signed a two-year contract extension with Vegas on March 5.
In his third season with Vegas, Roy has posted career-highs in games played (71), goals (14), assists (21) and points (35). His 71 appearances over the 2021-22 campaign are tied for third among all Vegas skaters. The forward was acquired by the Golden Knights from the Carolina Hurricanes in June of 2019.
