NOTES
The team held an optional morning skate.

LAST TIME OUT
In his first start of the preseason, Marc-Andre Fleury was spectacular in goal for Vegas as he turned aside all 26 shots he faced from the Los Angeles Kings. The Golden Knights came away with a 2-0 victory on goals from Ryan Reaves and Brayden McNabb.
KEYS TO THE GAME
Iron Out The Mistakes: In the final tune-up game, the Golden Knights will look to have a sound game plan, stick to that game plan and play the way that they'll look to play Thursday night in the home opener.
Dial Up The Offense: Vegas proved Friday night that they don't need too many goals to win a hockey game. But Fleury won't have a shutout every single night so Vegas will need to put up more than a few goals tonight against a deadly San Jose team.
FROM THE ROOM
William Karlsson
On what he wants to get out of the last preseason game...
I haven't scored in the last two games, but the line has been feeling really good. Hopefully we can finish off with a solid game tonight, too.
On having the high-level competition in the division...
It's fun for sure. Those rivalry games are the most fun to play, especially now that [San Jose] got Erik Karlsson. It adds some spice to it.
Deryk Engelland
On having training camp come to an end...
It's nice to sharpen up in the preseason and get back with the boys, but everyone's itching to get the real games going.
On the importance of a strong start to the season...
Just we did last year, we take it one game at a time. The guys are chomping at the bit to get going again. We had something on the table last year with the [Stanley Cup] Finals and guys want to come back and prove that it wasn't a fluke to be there.
