If you've been thirsting for more Vegas Golden Knights hockey, you're about to get it. Your cup is about to runneth over. Way over. Call the plumber because there's a flood, kinda runneth over.

The latest version of the NHL's schedule has the Golden Knights playing 39 games in 69 days with eight back-to-back situations and just two occurrences when the team has a two-day break. Travel will also be a factor as 21 of the club's remaining games are scheduled to be played on the road.
Vegas, due to Covid related stoppages, has played 17 games of its 56-game schedule to date. Only the Dallas Stars at 16 games have played less. The Vancouver Canucks lead the league in games played with 24 already in the bank.
A whole bunch of things come to mind:
1. Marc-Andre Fleury is going to need some help. He's the best goalie in the NHL right now but he's 36 and he needs to be protected. With Robin Lehner still injured, Vegas is going to have to find out if Oscar Dansk or Logan Thompson or both can help.
2. Fans should help. The Golden Knights will host fans at T-Mobile Arena for the first time since last season and they should provide a boost.
3. Practice? We're talking about practice? Ha. Good luck with that. Vegas will have very little opportunity to do anything other than play and travel.
4. Rest. Head coach Pete DeBoer is going to have to find a way to keep players off their feet whenever he can.
5. Cap gymnastics. Fresh bodies will be key and if DeBoer can use players off the taxi squad it will help. But if the club is up against the cap this will be difficult. Injuries provide breathing room but no one is going to be wishing for players to get hurt.
