VEGAS (October 2, 2017) - The Vegas Golden Knights issued the following updates and upcoming schedule changes.
Player and Staff Update
All Vegas Golden Knights players and Vegas Golden Knights staff are accounted for and safe. However, we know that this is not the case for many other organizations in our city. Our hearts are with those affected and we will be doing what we can to support the victims, their families and those grieving.
Fan Fest In Partnership with the D Las Vegas
The Vegas Golden Knights and the D Las Vegas have cancelled the Inaugural Fan Fest scheduled for Tuesday, October 3.
The event was previously scheduled to take place from 6-8 p.m. outside of the D Las Vegas.
Player Relief Efforts
Golden Knights players will begin making appearances in the community to show support for first responders and victims beginning Tuesday. Details of the appearances will be confirmed Tuesday.
Foundation Relief Efforts
The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation will be making a significant donation towards relief efforts. Specifics of the donation along with additional fundraising, events, in-arena recognition, player involvement and awareness initiatives will be announced at a later date.
