Due to the NHL's realignment, the Vegas Golden Knights and Minnesota Wild find themselves in the same division for the first time.
Vegas and Minnesota have three seasons of history as they head into their eight-contest head-to-head slate. The two clubs were scheduled to meet at Xcel Energy Center on March 12 before the regular season was shut down. Take a look at some of the numbers both teams will be considering before they take the ice in 2020-21.

1- When the Golden Knights defeated the Wild, 3-2, on Dec. 17 last season, it was the first time Vegas had topped Minnesota in regulation in franchise history.
2- Mark Stone led the Golden Knights in scoring against Minnesota last season with two points (2A) in two games.
4- Max Pacioretty has four points (2G, 2A) in five games against Minnesota since joining the Golden Knights. That's the highest total among active Vegas skaters. Colin Miller's six assists give him the most points in team history against the Wild.
6- Alex Tuch appeared in six games with the Wild before coming to the Golden Knights.
7- With seven hits in two games, Brayden McNabb threw his weight the Wild's way the most last season.
8- Reilly Smith took a team-high eight shots in two games against the Wild in 2019-20.
8- Vegas and Minnesota will square off eight times in 2020-21.
20:49-Shea Theodore averaged 20:49 of ice time in the pair of games vs. Minnesota last season.
25- Minnesota defenseman Brad Hunt put up 25 points in 58 games for the Golden Knights from 2017-2019.
54- Kevin Fiala was the leading scorer for the Wild in 2019-20 with 54 points (23G, 31A) in 64 games.
55- Vegas totaled 55 shots on goal in two games against the Wild last season.
62- Based on the Wild's 10-8-1 record against now West Division teams last season, Minnesota would have put up a 62-point campaign based on a 56-game schedule.
69.2- William Karlsson showed his efficiency in the faceoff dot with a 69.2 percent clip against Minnesota's centers last year.
