The Devils have assigned forwards Marián Studenič and Frederik Gauthier to Utica of the American Hockey League.
Both players were placed on waivers and cleared Monday.
Studenic, who made the Devils roster out of training camp, has appeared in five games for New Jersey. Gauthier, who earned a contract from the club after joining camp on a PTO (player tryout contract), played in eight games for the Devils.
Both players were featured on the team's fourth line and penalty kill units.
