Newark, NJ -The New Jersey Devils announced plans for their charity drives, which are set to take place at seven home games during the team's 2018-19 regular season. Each charity drive will benefit appointed charities throughout the Garden State. At select games, proceeds from the Devils Care Foundation 50/50 raffle will go towards benefiting each charity drive. Donation locations for all charity drive will be located at each entrance of Prudential Center: VIP East, VIP West, Lafayette Street, Ford Tower, Investor's Bank Tower and the Ford Parking Deck Sky Bridge.

The New Jersey Devils coat drive, presented by PSE&G and benefitting Jersey Cares, will be held on Oct. 25, when the team takes on the Nashville Predators at 7:00 p.m. and Oct. 27 against the Florida Panthers at 12:00 p.m. Jersey Cares is a nonprofit organization that recruits and engages volunteers by partnering with local nonprofits to identify needs and implementing volunteer projects to meet those needs. The Devils will ask fans in attendance to bring new or gently used coats for donations and drop them off at the various locations around the arena. Fans who donate will receive a voucher for two tickets to select upcoming Devils home games along with a 10% discount towards outerwear at Devils Den on Oct. 25 and Oct. 27. The Devils food drive, benefitting the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, will take place in partnership with Goya Foods as a part of their Goys Gives initiative on Nov. 13, 17, and 21. The Community Food Bank of New Jersey is the largest anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization in New Jersey that began more than 40 years ago in downtown Newark. Last season, the Devils collected 32,000 pounds of food and this year Goya Foods committed to matching up to 40,000 pounds of food for donations during this year's food drive. The Devils toy drive will take place on Dec. 1 as the Devils take on the Winnipeg Jets and on Dec. 3 as the Devils face the Tampa Bay Lightning. All toys collected will be donated to underserved Newark children and families. Fans can donate new toys to the various donation locations outside the arena.
