Devils forward Zack MacEwen will miss “an extended period of time” due to an injury suffered late in the third period of the Devils’ 5-3 win in Tampa Bay on Saturday.
“He sustained an injury in the last game later in the third period. He’s going to miss an extended period of time,” head coach Sheldon Keefe said. “The length we won’t know until later on. That’s the situation with him.”
MacEwen logged 7:12 minutes of ice time in the contest, his Devils debut.
