The Devils were back at
Prudential Center
Saturday for an afternoon practice following their season opening 4-3 overtime victory against Chicago Friday night.
Injured defensemen Ty Smith and Damon Severson joined the group for the second straight day, this time in no-contact jerseys.
"Both guys had a good skate today," head coach Lindy Ruff said. "I think they're both going to be possibilities for Tuesday (against Seattle)."
Goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood (heel) and forward Miles Wood (undisclosed) did not participate.
