NEWARK, N.J. - New Jersey Devils goaltender Cory Schneider, along with his wife, Jill, started Cory's Keepers presented by Investors Bank three years ago, which is a program focused on promoting healthy lifestyles, academic excellence, and fun for underprivileged and at-risk youth and families within Newark and throughout the state of New Jersey.

In just three years, Cory's Keepers has brought more than 100 different community groups from the state of New Jersey to Prudential Center. Each group receives 20 tickets to a Devils regular season home game, t- shirts, and the opportunity to meet Cory and Jill after the game courtesy of the Schneider's and Investors Bank.
This year, in an effort to expand the program and develop deeper roots within the community, Cory's Keepers will be visiting five organizations on-location at their facilities. Cory and Jill have worked with these groups throughout the past three seasons and are excited to continue the growth of their relationships.
To kick-start the off-site visits, Cory and Jill will be meeting with 75 students from the East Orange Recreation Center at the Cicely Tyson Community School of Performing and Fine Arts on Wednesday, March 6th for an evening of street hockey, hockey clinics and games. (35 Winans Street, East Orange, NJ).
This begins a series of visits from Cory to community programs throughout the state. Cory's Keepers program will also make visits to the following locations. Dates and times for all visits be announced as scheduled.
Event programming will be customized based on each group Cory and Jill are visiting, to maximize the impact on each organization.
