The New Jersey Devils have assigned four players to the American Hockey League.
Forward Ryan Schmelzer, defensemen Jeremy Groleau and Michael Vukojevic and goaltender Mareks Miten will report to Utica, which opens training camp Monday.
Groleau and Vukojevic both played in New Jersey's 7-1 victory Friday night against the NY Rangers at Prudential Center. Groleau was a plus-1 in 14:54 minutes while Vukojevic had a plus-1 in 17:21.
Schmelzer and Mitens were on AHL-only contract.
