Devils prospect Jaromir Pytlik has been selected as part of the Czech Republic's 28-man roster that will travel to Alberta for the 2021 World Junior Championship.
Pytlik, 19, has represented his country at the tournament for the past two years.
He has played four games on loan with the Czech2 team HC Stadion Litomerice and five national team appearances with two goals and four assists.
Pytlik is a member of the Ontario Hockey League's Soo Greyhounds, who have yet to play this season due to COVID-19 restrictions in Ontario.
The 2021 World Junior Championship will begin on December 25th, the Czech Republic's first game will be on Day 2 against Sweden at 2 pm EST.
