The Avs led 2-1 after the first period and 3-2 after the second before the Stars tied the outing on a power play midway through the third stanza on a redirection by Alexander Radulov, who also tallied twice.

QUOTABLE

Head coach Jared Bednar on his players stepping up throughout the season and playoffs: "I'm proud of all of our guys. You're not going to be at your best every single day, but you got to find ways to carve out wins as a team. We did that for a while. It's disappointing at the end, but I can't fault our effort.
