Goaltender Igor Shesterkin and SKA captured the Kontinental Hockey League's Gagarin Cup on Sunday. Shesterkin did not play in the final three games of the Final, though he did pick up a win in the series-opening game.
The 2014 fourth-round pick finished the postseason 4-1 with a .940 SV% and a 1.84 GAA after going 27-4-6 with a .937 SV% and a 1.64 GAA and eight shutouts.

Forward Ryan Gropp picked up an assist on the game-winning goal Friday night in Seattle's 4-1 victory over Everett to complete the sweep and advance to the Western Hockey League's Western Conference Final. Gropp had missed the last four games before returning on Friday, and the 2015 second-round pick has a goal and four assists in four playoff games this season.
Seattle will face Kelowna in the Conference Final.
Defenseman Sergey Zborovskiy had an assist and was a plus-5 Saturday in Regina's 5-3 win over Swift Current in Game 6 of their WHL second-round series. The 2015 third-rounder has two assists and is a plus-11 in 10 postseason games. Game 7 is set for Monday night.
