Prospect Update: Day, Gettinger and Ronning All in Action

Defenseman Sean Day registered an assist in Windsor's 4-3 overtime win over the Erie in the Ontario Hockey League. The 2016 third-round pick has three goals and eight assists for 11 points in 13 games for the Spitfires thus far this season.

Tim Gettinger scored his ninth goal of the season in Sault Ste. Marie's 4-1 win over Niagara. The fifth-round pick from 2016 has 18 points and 72 shots on goal in 17 games with the Greyhounds.

Ty Ronning notched a pair of goals to help Vancouver top Kamloops in the Western Hockey League on Saturday. The 2016 seventh-round pick is off to the best start in the WHL career with 15 goals and 24 points in 17 games. He's a plus player for the first time with Vancouver and has 98 shots on goal.

Goaltender Brandon Halverson made 31 saves in a 5-4 Greenville win over Jacksonville Saturday in the ECHL. The 2014 pick improved to 2-2-1 this season. Adam Chapie picked up an assist and leads the Swamp Rabbits with 14 points in nine games this season.

Morgan Barron had an assist in Cornell's 5-4 win over Princeton Saturday night. The 2017 sixth-round pick has two goals and two assists in four games.

Defenseman Tarmo Reunanen picked up an assist in TPS' 5-3 loss to Karpat in Finland's Liiga on Saturday.
