Prospect Update: Andersson Scores Twice for Frolunda

Rangers 2017 first-round pick Lias Andersson had two goals and four shots on goal in a 3-2 win for Frolunda in the Swedish Hockey League.

The pair of goals were the 19-year-old's first two of the season for the Indians. Andersson has eight shots on goal and is averaging 15:44 through five games.

Goaltender Igor Shesterkin made 19 saves for SKA in its win over Neftekhimik in the Kontinental Hockey League on Tuesday. Shesterkin is 13-1-2 in 16 appearances this season with a 1.27 GAA and a .952 SV% with four shutouts.

Ty Ronning had a pair of goals for Vancouver in its 5-4 overtime win against Prince Albert. The 2016 pick has six goals and three assists for nine points through nine games with the Giants.

Forward Patrik Virta had a goal and added five shots in 21:13 of ice time for TPS in Finland's Liiga on Tuesday. Virta has three goals and seven assists for 10 points with 49 shots on goal in 14 games this season.
