Rangers 2016 third-round pick Sean Day was sent from the Mississauga Steelheads (OHL) to Windsor Tuesday night. Day had spent his entire OHL career with the Steelheads, who took him fourth overall in the 2013 OHL Draft after he was granted Exceptional Player Status.
The 18-year-old is off to a strong start this season, notching three goals and two assists in five games.

Over in the Western Hockey League, 2015 fourth-round pick Brad Morrison picked up an assist in Prince George's loss to Swift Current. Morrison is off to the best start of his WHL career with four goals and 11 assists for 15 points in just 12 games played.
Defenseman Sergey Zborovskiy picked up an assist in Regina's 6-1 victory over Lethbridge Tuesday night. The 2015 third-rounder has a goal and six assists in eight games and is a plus-15, which is tied for the WHL lead.
