Prospect Update: Chytil With a Pair of Assists for CZE

Rangers 2017 first-round pick Filip Chytil had two assists for the Czech Republic in a 6-5 overtime loss to Russia at the U20 Four Nations Tournament. The 17-year-old has a goal and two helpers in three games in the tournament.

In the Champions Hockey League, 2017 first-round pick Lias Andersson and Frolunda topped KAC Klagenfurt, 2-1. Andersson had four shots on goal, two PIMs and won 78 percent of his faceoffs in 11:37 of ice time.

Patrik Virta had five shots and two PIMs in 17:42 of ice time while Tarmo Reunanen had nine shots in 18:29 for TPS in a 4-0 loss to SC Bern in the CHL. 

According to SKA, Igor Shesterkin became the youngest goaltender to earn 10 career shutouts with the organization after his 27-save performance yesterday in his KHL season debut.
