This is the ninth time since conference play was introduced in 1974-75 in which the Blueshirts have won 32+ games against teams in their own conference. The last time was 2014-15 (35 wins vs. EC).
AWAY WINS - New York won its fourth-straight road contest, its third streak of four or more road wins this season, and has won seven of its last eight on the road dating back to Mar. 12. With tonight's win, the Rangers earned their 50th road point, tied for the fifth most in club history. Their 24 road wins are tied for the fourth most in franchise history.
CREASE CLOSED - The Blueshirts collected their seventh shutout of the season and second in their last four games. New York has allowed one or fewer goals in four of their last five contests.

PHILLY SPECIAL- The Rangers finished the season series with Philadelphia with a 3-0-1 record, marking the fifth time in history of this matchup that the Rangers have not suffered a regulation loss over the course of the season against the Flyers. BOUNCING BACK - The Blueshirts responded from last night's loss with tonight's victory, improving to 18-6-3 following a loss of any kind this season.
SCORING FIRST- New York improved to 30-5-2 when scoring the first goal of the game, 22-4-0 when leading after the first period and 28-1-3 when leading heading into the third frame.
