Forward Jordan Martinook suffered an upper-body injury early in the second period and did not play the rest of the game.
Martinook and Ducks forward Corey Perry got tangled in a corner and Martinook fell to the ice awkwardly at 4:34. He immediately skated to the bench, hobbled to the dressing room and did not return.
Martinook is one of five Coyotes players to appear in all 39 games this season.
Later in the game, rookie defenseman Jakob Chychrun was injured when he was inadvertently elbowed in the head by Anaheim's Nick Ritchie with 8:24 left in third period. Chychrun left the ice and did not return.
And center Martin Hanzal, who scored Arizona's first goal at 1:19 of the second period, did not play much in the third period because of a lower-body injury.
The goal was Hanzal's ninth of the season and it tied him with Radim Vrbata for the team lead.
"We'll see where we are tomorrow," Tippett said regarding the injuries. Arizona hosts the New York Islanders on Saturday at Gila River Arena.
The Coyotes already are playing minus forwards Max Domi, Brad Richardson and Ryan White. All are on the injured-reserve list.
• Goalie Mike Smith mishandled the puck in front of his net and allowed Ducks forward Ondrej Kase to score the game-winning goal.
"(That's) the way things are going now," Smith said of the team's nine-game losing streak. "My stick breaks and (I) didn't get anything on it, and it ends up in the back of the net."
He added: "We were a lot better tonight. It's unfortunate that I couldn't make a couple more saves and help out more. It was good to see. We had good speed, and good intensity. There was more motion in our game. We deserved the win."
