Lindstrom, 65, played for each team during his career. He spent nearly eight seasons with Winnipeg, including the final four in the WHA (1975-79).
He was traded to Edmonton for Laurie Boschman on March 7, 1983, and played the 1983-84 and 1984-85 seasons with the Oilers.
In 582 NHL games, Lindstrom had 161 goals and 162 assists. In the WHA, he had 123 goals and 138 assists in 316 games, including a 44-goal season in 1976-77.
He won the Avco Cup with the Jets three times and won the Stanley Cup with the Oilers twice.
Lindstrom was one of three players in the alumni game who played for each team during his career. Boschman and Winnipeg Jets assistant coach Charlie Huddy, who won the Stanley Cup five times with the Oilers, are the others.
"It's very unique," Huddy said on Saturday. "I'm thankful that the Jets let me have the opportunity to go play with the guys I played with and won a lot of Cups with. That means a lot to me. But once tomorrow comes around, we get back to business and I'm coaching for the Jets."
