The Blue Jackets enter the Winter/All-Star breaks with the second most wins and points in the first 48 games of a campaign in franchise history (32-12-4, 68 points in 2016-17).
Columbus has set a new club record by killing off opponent power plays in 10-straight games (23 chances since Dec. 31), surpassing a stretch of nine-straight without a PPG allowed from Feb. 21-Mar. 9, 2013 (21 opportunities). CBJ is the only team in the NHL to not allow a PPG in 2019.
The Jackets rank ninth in the NHL in goals per game (3.21) and have scored four or more goals in 23 of 48 contests.
Jarmo Kekalainen surpassed Doug MacLean as the longest tenured general manager in franchise history with his 493rd game on Saturday at Minnesota (262-188-43 in 493 games).
LW Artemi Panarin has posted 10 of his 19 goals in the last 14 games (10-9- 19), ranking fourth-T in the league in goal scoring since Dec. 22.
D Zach Werenski has notched 2-5-7 in his last six home contests.
G Joonas Korpisalo ranks sixth-T in the NHL in goals-against average and seventh in save percentage since Dec. 27 (min. five GP) with a 4-1-0 record, 1.90 GAA and .932 SV%. He is 3-1-0 with a 1.96 GAA and .935 SV% in his past four starts since Jan. 10.

All-Stars

RW Cam Atksinson was selected to play in his second career NHL All-Star Game (2017). The winger, who is the second play- er in CBJ history to record six-straight 20- goal campaigns (Nash; eight straight from 2003-12), ranks ninth-T in the league in goals and 10th-T in game-winning goals (five) this season with 27-21-48 in 47 contests.
D Seth Jones was selected to participate in his third-straight All-Star Game (missed 2018 due to illness). Jones, who was named to the Second NHL All-Star Team in 2017-18 after posting 16-41-57 in 76 games, ranks second-T in the league among defensemen in gamewinning goals (three) and fourth in ice time this season (26:01), collecting 7-22-29 in 41 games.
