"Just staying focused. It can be easy to drift into a lull, go through the motions. The challenge for us especially coming off a win is to keep pressing forward. I'm sure everyone is anxious to get home, but we've still got a couple games here that we have to stay focused and hungry for." -- Capitals defenseman Matt Niskanen on playing the fifth game of a six-game road trip "Playing in the middle you have to play 200 feet. You have to play without the puck. It's way easier to be a winger; that's why when you come to the NHL they stick you on the wall the first couple years and learn how to play a little bit." -- Maple Leafs coach Mike Babcock on the challenge for William Nylander playing center without Kadri in the lineup
