Aho gets rock star treatment with Stanley Cup in Finland

Sebastian Aho's day with the Stanley Cup had a little bit of everything: Adoring fans, familiar faces and even flames shooting out of the ground.

Aho took the Cup to Oulu, Finland on Saturday and a time was definitely had. The team shared a video of the three-time NHL All-Star bringing the trophy out on stage at a festival as flames shot off and the crowd roared.

In the clip, Aho is wearing a jacket that reads "National Hockey League" and "Lord Stanley" on the back, circled around a picture of the Cup.

Also on Saturday, Aho ran in to an old friend, Chicago Blackhawks forward Teuvo Teravainen. The two posed for a picture together lifting the trophy.

Aho and Teravainen are not only Finnish countrymen, the two were teammates with the Hurricanes from 2016-2024. Teravainen returned to Chicago, where he spent the first three seasons of his NHL career (including helping Chicago to the Cup in 2015), as a free agent in before the 2024-25 season.
