The Vegas Golden Knights are swimming into the playoffs with a new team pet.

Vegas introduced their new team pet goldfish named "Goldie" on Friday.
In a video posted by the team on Twitter, the Golden Knights discuss that it is time for them to get a team pet after six years in the league.

Mark Stone told his teammates, who were dreaming about puppies and kittens, that he had the "perfect solution." They just had to all pitch in to take care of her.
Goldie the Goldfish was then wheeled into the locker room in her fish tank.
The Golden Knights approved and started a "Goldie" chant.

This is certainly a great start to "the Goldie age."
