Canes Cup title 2026

They weren't in North Carolina, but they definitely raised up. In fact, they raised Cup, as in Stanley.

And the party started on social media immediately after the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 3-0 in Game 6 of the 2026 Stanley Cup Final.

The Hurricanes ended a 20-year title drought behind Conn Smythe winner, captain Jordan Staal.

And it wasn't just the Hurricanes celebrating. Plenty of others took to social channels to share the love, including their NFL counterparts, the Carolina Panthers.

The NBA's Charlotte Hornets shouted out the Hurricanes.

Everyone was in a nostalgic mood as even Hurricanes coach Rod Brind'Amour recreated his iconic Cup lift from his days as the team's captain.

North Carolina governor Josh Stein was at the team's watch party at Lenovo Center and he called his shot five days ago, "Canes in six."

The Hurricanes got plenty of other congrats, from other NHL teams and fans who weren't at the jam-packed watch party.
