The Game

The Tampa Bay Lightning will play the last of eight-straight games on the road, against the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place on Monday.
Tampa Bay is on a two-game winning streak and has won five of its first seven games on the road trip (5-2-0). The Lightning are first in the NHL standings, one point ahead of the Vegas Golden Knights.
Edmonton is 4-1-1 in its past six games after going 1-6-1 in the previous eight. This is the last of a five-game homestand for the Oilers.

Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov leads the NHL with 66 points (27 goals, 39 assists) in 52 games. He has not scored a goal in his past 10 games.
Oilers goaltender Cam Talbot will start after missing a 4-3 overtime loss against the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday, with an illness.

Girardi took the optional morning skate for Tampa Bay, but will miss his third consecutive game with a lower-body injury … Larsson will be out indefinitely due to the death of his father on Friday.
