The EA SPORTS NHL 17 Cover Vote reached its final Twitter Thursday, and high-profile fans, including NBA MVP Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors, were featured in tweets supporting the two finalists: San Jose Sharks forward Joe Pavelski and St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko.
Eight stars were selected to represent their NHL and World Cup of Hockey teams in a competition to become the EA SPORTS NHL 17 cover athlete and it's down the Pavelski (Team USA) and Tarasenko (Team Russia). Voting closes Monday at 3 p.m. ET. The cover winner will be revealed June 22 at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas.

The Warriors sent out a tweet featuring a video of Curry with a Pavelski bobblehead.

The San Francisco 49ers are trying to push Pavelski over the top against Tarasenko and in Game 7.

The Oakland A's posted a similar message.

The Tarasenko side has been no less verbose, with Blues fans channeling their excitement about their team's trip to the Conference Final into voting for the wing.
