Instant analysis: Stars at Blues, Game 4

ST. LOUIS -- Cody Eakin scored 2:58 into overtime to give the Dallas Stars a 3-2 win against the St. Louis Blues at Scottrade Center on Thursday, tying the best-of-7 Western Conference Second Round series 2-2.

What we learned:That this series is not going to be over any time soon. It's bound for at least six games after the Stars won.
What this means for the Stars:That they're still in this series. It looked early like they might be in trouble, after managing to leave Vladimir Tarasenko alone for a breakaway that started the scoring (despite Dallas having six skaters on the ice). But the Stars got themselves back in the game with goals at 4:05 and 5:14, with the second coming on the power play and breaking an 0-for-12 streak to start this series.
What this means for the Blues: St. Louis gave up the home-ice advantage it gained with an overtime win in Game 2 in Dallas. The Blues are still in a good position, though, given the way they've played in the past two games.

Key moment: The Blues had the lead in the series and in the game. Until, that is, Blues defenseman Joel Edmundson made a pinpoint pass to Stars forward Radek Faksa at 4:05 of the second period. Edmundson was trying to get the puck out of the defensive zone but instead, after Faksa received the turnover, it ended up as a goal. The score was tied and Edmundson was left hitting his stick on the left post in frustration. It got the Stars back into the game at a time it might have spiraled.
Unsung player of the game:Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen. Dallas was in trouble, having pulled its goalie in each of the past two games. Lehtonen was pulled early in Game 2, and Antti Niemi got the boot early in Game 3. Though Lehtonen wasn't perfect in Game 4, he was good enough, allowing goals on a breakaway and a power-play redirect.
What's next: Game 5 comes quickly, with the Stars and Blues taking the ice at American Airlines Center in Dallas on Saturday afternoon (1 p.m. ET; NBC, TVA Sports, SN).
