Bernie the St. Bernard proved again why he's man's best friend.

The Colorado Avalanche mascot got a ride from some cadets during the third period of the 2020 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series game at Falcon Stadium on the campus of the U.S. Air Force Academy on Saturday.
The cadets sat next to the ice for the entire game, and with the score tied, Bernie crowd surfed through the maze of students.
He seemed quite excited about the ride. NBC commentators Kenny Albert, Eddie Olczyk and Brian Boucher got a kick out of it as well.
Bernie probably wasn't quite as fired up by the game's outcome, a 3-1
