The San Jose Sharks will look to extend their season-high winning streak to six games but will be without forward Joonas Donskoi, who left in the second period of a 5-2 win against the Colorado Avalanche on Monday because of an undisclosed injury. The Sharks traded forward Tommy Wingels to the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday for forwards Buddy Robinson and Zach Stortini, plus a seventh-round pick in the 2017 NHL Draft. Patrick Marleau scored four third-period goals Monday, the first NHL player score four goals in a period since Mario Lemieux of the Pittsburgh Penguins on Jan. 26, 1997. "He [Marleau] is a huge piece for us," coach Peter DeBoer said. "He gets overlooked sometimes because of the other names and characters that we have. But he quietly goes about his business and the guys in the room know how important he is. I think that's the ultimate respect." Goalie Aaron Dell is expected to start.
