ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Eric Staal scored two goals and the Minnesota Wild regained possession of first place in the Central Division and Western Conference with a 3-1 win against the San Jose Sharks at Xcel Energy Center on Sunday.
Minnesota (42-15-6) has a one-point lead on the Chicago Blackhawks atop the Central with two games in hand.
Devan Dubnyk, whose .933 save percentage and 35 wins leads the NHL, made 20 saves.
