Panthers teammate makes joke about letting him score back in the day in video tribute to star

Jaromir Jagr undoubtedly had many to thank after his milestone point on Thursday, but teammate Roberto Luongo knows who shouldn't be left out: Roberto Luongo.

The Florida Panthers goalie had a funny quip during Jagr's tribute video, played on Thursday after Jagr passed Mark Messier for second on the NHL's career points list.
"Hey Jags I just wanted to congratulate you on being second all-time in points. I know you couldn't have gotten there without all those years I let you score on me back in the day," Luongo said.
The tribute that featured Messier and Wayne Gretzky, the NHL's all-time points leader, as well as many Panthers teammates.
Of all the sincere wishes, Luongo's may have gotten the biggest laugh.
