Packers hockey jerseys

The Green Bay Packers needed some hockey sweaters to keep them warm on Saturday.

Packers wide receiver Christian Watson and defensive end Lukas Van Ness wore NHL jerseys as they arrived at Lambeau Field for their matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

Watson sported Lightning star Nikita Kucherov’s No. 86 jersey and threw up peace signs during walk-ins.

Van Ness opted for Canadiens defenseman Lane Hutson’s No. 48 sweater which he proudly showed off to the camera. Van Ness and Hutson both grew up in the Chicago suburb of Barrington, Illinois.

On social media, Van Ness’ mother, Leanna, revealed Hutson’s father, Rob, coached the Packers defensive end in youth hockey.

“Love this!!! So awesome, great opportunity to rep your former hockey coach’s son! #Barringtonproud,” Leanna commented under the Packers’ post.
