Watson suspended two games for interference

NEW YORK --Ottawa Senators forward Austin Watson has been suspended for two games, without pay, for interference against Boston Bruins defenseman Jack Ahcan during NHL Game No. 543 in Ottawa on Saturday, Feb. 12, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 8:07 of the first period. Watson was assessed a minor penalty for interference.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Watson will forfeit $15,000.00. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
