Nicklas Backstrom evidently has a wicked glove hand.

That's Washington Capitals Nicklas Backstrom not former NHL goalie Niklas Backstrom.

The Capitals center showed off some epic goaltending while playing street hockey against his son Vince during a PSA posted to Twitter on Wednesday.

Backstrom checked in on Capitals fans and reminded them to stay active while quarantining during the global coronavirus pandemic. He then stymied each of Vince's shot, snapping off an epic glove save to close.

Teammate Tom Wilson was impressed and called on Backstrom to be the Capitals emergency backup goalie in the future.

Tweet from @tom_wilso: Wow. What a glove hand on you... I know whos going in net if we need emergency relief!! #davidayres https://t.co/E19J1PpD76
