On Wednesday, LA Kings' Captain Anze Kopitar joined NHL Now to discuss his All-Star Game selection and many topics surrounding his career and the Kings' season. This is the fourth All-Star Game selection for Kopitar.
"It's a great honor to represent your team," Kopitar said.

The Kings are the only team in the West to be sending three players to the 2018 All-Star Game in Tampa Bay
: Kopitar, Jonathan Quick and Drew Doughty.
In 44 games played, Kopitar has scored 18 goals and added 27 assists for a total of 45 points and a plus-14 rating; a much-improved stat line from his 2016-17 season. Kopitar told NHL Now that much of his struggle from last season was due to a lingering wrist injury.
When asked about what the Kings need to do for the next portion of the season, Kopitar quickly answered "consistency." "We haven't put a 60-minute effort together in a little while now," the captain said.
The segment also includes conversation about the LA Kings and Anaheim Ducks Rivalry, the transition into a new head coach, the Vegas Golden Knights, and his dog Gustl becoming a "celebrity" of sorts.
