NHL clubs remember Humboldt Broncos one year later

The NHL and hockey world remains Humboldt Strong.

Each NHL team left a stick outside its locker room to honor Humboldt of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League on the first anniversary of the tragic bus crash Saturday.
The hockey world was shaken when 16 people were killed and 13 were injured when the Broncos bus crashed into a tractor trailer on its way to a playoff game game last year. The League and its member clubs
memorialized Humboldt
last year after the crash with fans, teams and players leaving their sticks outside their doors.
The hashtag #HumboldtStrong trended on Twitter in Canada for most of the day as hockey fans and players across North America shared their thoughts and posted photos of their sticks out on social media.
