Rueschhoff agrees to entry-level contract with Rangers

Undrafted forward scored 12 goals for Western Michigan this season

Austin Rueschhoff agreed to terms on an entry-level contract with the New York Rangers on Friday. Terms were not disclosed.

The 22-year-old undrafted forward scored 70 points (35 goals, 35 assists) in 105 games during three seasons at Western Michigan University, including 26 points (12 goals, 14 assists) in 36 games this season.
During his three NCAA seasons, Rueschhoff was one of 10 players who had at least 35 goals, 35 assists, and 100 penalty minutes (105).
Rueschhoff had 27 points (17 goals, 10 assists) in 57 games with Dubuque of the United States Hockey League in 2016-17.
