LA Kings Set to Host 2018 LA Galaxy Night on Oct 18 at STAPLES Center

Soccer and hockey don't always go hand in hand, but for the LA Galaxy and LA Kings, it's a perfect partnership.
The two teams have supported each other over the years with co-branded theme nights and cross promotion.
This Thursday, the LA Kings will host LA Galaxy Night when they face the New York Islanders and the game will be Galaxy themed.

Galaxy players and coaches will be attending the game, with Kings favorite Zlatan Ibrahimovic performing the ceremonial puck drop.
All fans in attendance will receive an Kings and Galaxy Co-Branded Backpack presented by Rocket League.
The backpack is regulation size to bring into stadiums, and perfect for... you guessed it, Galaxy games.

In addition to the backpack, fans who purchase tickets through a special
Galaxy Ticket Pack
will also receive an Ibrahimovic T-shirt.

Kings players and staff had the chance to meet Ibrahimovic and even play a bit of soccer with him last season when he first moved to Los Angeles.

Imbrahimovic must have been a good luck charm that night because Dustin Brown went on to score four goals, leading the Kings to a 5-4 OT win.

Kings players have taken in several Galaxy games over the years at StubHub Center as well, which always provides a fun team outing.

At Galaxy Night, Kings players will warm up in Galaxy-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off by the Kings Care Foundation through their
mobile auction

Much of the game will be Galaxy-themed with various elements throughout the night. This includes the second intermission, which will feature bubble soccer, hosted by Galaxy Defender Daniel Steres and Forward. Cozmo and the Galaxy Star Squad in attendance as well.
